Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to common new member questions:

 

How do I get access to the building?

  • During business hours (8am - 6pm) the building is unlocked and open

  • To get 24/7 access, Lance will follow up with you within 24 hours of your new membership to generate your own unique access code

 

How do I lock + unlock the front door after hours?

  • Here is a helpful tutorial video on how the keypad on our front door works

 

Where do I park?

  • Parking is free. There are spots in the parking lot directly in front of Merritt House, or spots on both 23rd and Irving streets (just be mindful of street cleaning days!)

 

How do I book a conference room?

  • Just go to this page and click ‘reserve now’ 

  • Each member gets two free hours of conference reservations/month. 

  • After that it is $30/ hour

 

What about zoom and personal calls? Where should I do those?

  • We have three zoom rooms that are first come first serve. No reservations required. 

 

What are your noise policies in the open space of Merritt Workspace?

  • We try and keep the open space fairly quiet 

  • For calls of any kind, please hop in a zoom room, or take them outside (you can go into Merritt Event Space if it’s not being used, or the outdoor patio furniture area is a great spot to chat). 

  • If you are in a private office, please close your door if you are going to be talking on a call or conduct a meeting. 

 

Can I bring my dog?

  • Private office members can bring in their dog, but they must stay in the office. Dedicated and mobile desk users can not bring in pets.

 

How do I buy snacks in the kitchen?

  • Please go to the snack shop page of the website and select what you would like to purchase, then follow the instructions for check out.
